Engineer's Desktop Model (EDM)
I had spent more than a working day trying to get EDM installed and run in my pc. Yet, it is not running at all till now.
Fyi, EDM requires a database(collection of tables), either SQL (Structure Query Language), Oracle, Microsoft Access...etc to run. The complexity arose due to its sensitiveness on the version of the database. For instance, in my case, EDM ver.14 is only running with SQL 2003 database. Just realize this. Initially I thought can just hentam, as in things are simply matchable. What a lovingly thinking! Hell that I know meh! It shits me a lot! It's frustrating!
What did I just do? Uninstalled/ removed all of them. Tomorrow, gonna reinstall the compatible match.
Gosh...I am having a bad cough now. Christmas is coming around! Damn Damn Damn! how to 3W (Woo Woo Wor). Haven't got plan for tomorrow countdown.
I have been contemplating if my speculation has hit pillar alr. I won't be seeing my nice colleague anymore. So, passing people contact is nothing better/ more secure than having people contact in hand. Sigh Sigh Sigh...gonna loop Avenge Sevenfold's "I won't see you tonight-part II". also 王力宏 "星期六的深夜"。。。Jeff, so pathetic meh...Chill out!
Arh...this morning, I handed over my Christmas gift prepared for "someone". Can be a male. Shit. Cause my office activists is organizing a Xmas Gift Exchange thingy. I bought something which people especially females do actually get astonished, a 1.5 litre wine imported from France ler. It sorta heavy. Well, it's not whiskey, vokad, martini, or something...The principle is 物重,情义更重!Translation: The gift is real heavy, yet if it's compared to my sincerity, it's nothing!
... Jungle Bell ... Merry Christmas ...
May santa clause listen to everyone's heart, grant us of our longing!

Malaysian Men come home late.
In response to this, a survey among the men had been carried out. Today, the headline for The Sun is something like men answering the whys. Surprisingly, many said that it's because of the filthy odor at home, be it smell from sweaty clothing, waste water, balance food, or something. After a tiring day of working, men expect to sooth down, relax and chill out at home, but the foul smell is disastrous. Some just keep quiet about this issue due to the fact that they don't want to hurt their honey by questioning their capability in house keeping. They would rather hang out longer in the offices.
Is it so? I mean is their reasoning justified? What do you think?
My thought: Yea, I do see there's a/some problem(s) man coming home late frequently. Male, let's put ya legs in the your beloved's shoes, what this can possibly be meant? If you're responsible, avoid this. Communicate with ya honey. Well, if you so happen to have affair, I dunno what to say. In fact, it's complicated for me to say anything. Situation varies from individual to individual. People take and see things differently, for example sex. So long as the hurt feeling is minimized, nothing is wrong. It's a totally subjective!
I can't give you my words that I may be coming home late sometimes in future either. As far as possible, I really think that it should not be happening though.
Filthy odor makes men coming home late, really? Shear lying lar....Yet again, it can be so. Women, do put some effort in housekeeping. Perhaps Ambipur can be helpful. You may wanna have maids. As long as the house is comfortable for man being.

IT impaired against "corrupted"
Yesterday, I spent almost whole night trying to sync video to my Nano, but I fail. So, it can only play cater for audio. Due to it's "brilliant" owner, it's handicapped being unable to cater videos. Lol, wondering that if I am somehow IT impaired! Shit...
Arh, was asked to do physical work today. Not photostatting, nor printing, making coffee, but a nicer one --> to fold the long log into A4 side so that they can be accommodated by A4 folder.

Feeling finger lickingly good
Since it's another 2 weeks to the end of year, most of the works/ projects/ cases had been done. Furthermore, it could be due to the retrenchment throughout the industry. People are more relaxed than days ago. People hanged out, talked more and joked around. Even the two big bosses talked craps with my sv. (O...outgoing sv cos he is transferring to other department) Din actually catch their conversation except for the laughter. So, I'm getting an incoming sv. She is based in Jakarta full time! What implies here is that there will be no one to keep an eye on me later on. In other words, I can basically do free-style provided my job done. Walao...good wei. However, let's not ignore about the downside! Whatever issues I have to deal with her, the only way would be via electronic means like phone or video conferencing. Not sure will meet her how many hours throughout my internship. Sigh...
More pleasingly is that I just got to speak to her, on phone. The conversation was good! She asked me if I wanna take leave in coming X-mas or new year. I said "it's ok" but then suggested to her that I would want to ask few days off during CNY. She sorta agreed. My conclusion is that she is just LIKE me, EASY-GOING. On top of that, she told me that I will be needed to be on a business trip for the company. It excited me plentifully, BUT THEN the shortcoming --> it's gonna be in bombing site as to reveal which country I'll be flying. I'm verbally informed, haven't "validate" it. It's a truth or fraud, follow chemhoster closely especially in the month of Feb or March.
My mood has certainly been shot up hearing that. Out of sudden, I could feel irresistable Christmas ambience in Suria KLCC. There was a "bunch" of philharmonic violists performing live. The melody matched my mood well. It's indeed a good day! Went over pc fair in KL Convention Center with my old dude. Gave up RM 25 for a "Sean Kingston" 4G pendrive. BTW, there're good chicks at Toshiba booth lol...hahaha...guys, go and have a look. WTH...
Another piece of story. My office people are actually FUNtastic. To support my point, there had been 2 birthday celebration in pantry. Next up, gift exchange "party". No idea if it's a party or not. Basically, everyone got to draw log and prepare a gift for that person. BUT then again, I din draw my TARGET! Lol...sigh...

KL=Cherishland
Hang out here just to kill time whilst nurturing sleeping mode.
Few surprises today:
Early this morning, it's super freaking unusually packed in the train. Proceeding all the way from Wangsamaju-->Setiawangsa-->Jelatek-->Dato Keramat-->Damai-->Ampang Park-->KLCC, people just kept swamped in, don't they have eyes to see how pack it's! Neither do they have brain to think how terrible it feels like being sandwiched in between with macam-macam aroma! Was suffering from acute breathing problem! Damned annoyed by that! More worth informing, my dude compellingly leashed out his "virgin" shoulder to a "perfect" stranger who got out in Ampang. I din manage to check out how "perfect" is she. He ranted it all day!
Secondly, I was on the same lift with a fellow, well I mean the India country manager of Halliburton whom I totally had no ideal about until he finally took the initiative to check me out! Lol, I guess I just cherishes my selambaness.
Thirdly, out for lunch with somebody to whom I terhutang budi a lot in the sense that this person was actually the service provider, I mean materials provider for our courses. Despite having walked to Avenue-K a couple of times, still lost in way. I know, my sense of direction is beyond retrievable.
Fourthly, went swimming after work. The water was damned cold. However, two interesting creatures showed out. Stayed "a little bit " longer than intended. What are you thinking? We didn't do anything behind our clear conscience, okey!
Back from swimming, my housemate brought her frens back. Lol...lazy to know people alr. It seems like everywhere is fish here.
KL=Cherishland.
Hope you're entertained. Hang up here!

Superdog-Bolt
Being my first weekend of working life, me and a dude went Pavilion GSC. The ticket cost RM 18, with a special spec for 3D viewing in package.
Not gonna talk about the movie review. It's fairly good I would say.
After the movie, had a gathering in Time Square with KL-based UTP-interns.

Brief visit to IPTC
Having one hour plus lunch break, I went over to pay a visit for the world-class oil and gas exhibition. Yea, it really was! I was totally blown mind off seeing how grand scale the booths were! Undoubtedly, huge money had been thrown in. PETRONAS got a double storey booth, best design I would say but its a bit laying back to efficiently convey information. My vote goes to slb being the most informative and interative booth. They had working models with video on LCDs. At the same time, there's technical presentations. Due to time constraint, I just stayed for short. Baker Hughes offer a visual and motion sensing bowling game (correct term?) I did store strike for once and won some hands! Bravo! haha...
Halliburton wasn't doing so well. However, it showcased it's R5000, an g&g-->Ge0logy and Geophysics software which recently won Oil and Gas Award. Of course there were many more companies like Shell, ExxonMobile, Total, Kuwait, JAPEX, Chevron...to name a few. Very regret to not be able to put up photo. Going to get a camera phone. =)
On top of that, TOYOTA motor , Misubishi and even Shell showed off their prototype solar cars! Wonderful!
It's really eye opening, but I didn't gain much technical exposure which I was supposed to do. Perhaps I spent too little time there. I was pretty late to go back office. I was installing a software on my sv's desk who went out for lunch almost the same time as I did. So, I was kinda caught red handed!

3rd taggie
However, the verdict being "on internship" corresponds to free as in have plenty of time somehow, isn't so applicable, to me in particular, but for Pinky, yes! (Somebody is getting mad) These 3 days, due to the fact that I'm still "green" in the office, not even once I stole bone. I just kept popping in coffee, cappuccino, soft drink, or sky juice to stay awake and refrain myself from napping/ dozing off. Hence, I need to "reimburse" my sleep debt" when I get back to room. Sigh, thing get worsened due to the human jam almost everywhere.
Anyway, here I go! Me, being a hot guy, really? Come, you judge it.

100th post
P/s: Please dun be such a dumbass to perceive that Pangkor people is deprived of internet access. We're very much developed in many ways! I "guess" 3G is coming there soon. Well in years to come.
My holidays really thumbs up. I didn't travel oversea, nor did I travel to anywhere in Malaysia. I just went back hometown. Hanging out a bunch of "old" dudes who always joke ass off, happening and crappy to be with. Our routine was just simple, not a little sense of "hustle and bustle". We went for breakfast & yamcha sitting hours in Kopitiam everyday (spoil people business as occupying the table for unreasonably long), picking up badminton, and more interestingly we went fishing. Fyi. despite being an island boy, well I may seem to be a sunshine "beach boy" or what, I just pick up fishing recently after 21 years staying in the island. (feeling nauseating alr? =)).
Well, I'd like to talk about fishing in particular. My gang has never fond of going fishing. Perhaps I'm too much into the Survivor tv show , I just put forward the idea of going fishing. The rest seemed to like the idea. So. we lend some fishing robs and headed to an obsolete jetty. As it's extended out into the sea, we didn't have to throw so hard to get our bait (prawn) into deep water for big fish. It's a gloomy and windy afternoon. Otherwise I may turn into char coal being under hot sun as it's unshaded. So, we got the business started by penetrating the prawn over the hook and put it down into the water. We waited impatiently for the fish to eat the bait. Well, we were kinda lucky. After 15 minutes like that, my friend alr got 1 fish. That's my first time seeing someone fish up 1 fish. Soon later, my other dude got 1 also. Finally it's me. I first feel some tension in thread. However it's gone after like a second. I thought the fish had gone. But my friend told me to keep on winding back the thread. Thereafter, the tension was back and getting greater. My fishing rob got curved up pulling the fish up. I got so excited winding the thread and finally the fish surfaced. It's almost the size of my palm. I unhooked the fish and take a second shot. At times, I could feel the tension in the thread, which means that there's fish eating my bait. Unfortunately, they didn't eat together with the hook. My fish got another 2 fishes which totaled up to 5 fishes as our hasil tangkapan in 2.5 hours. I thought to bring them to restaurant for some kinda Portuguese Ikan Bakar but then nowhere seems to cater this. In the end, I didn't get the chance to taste the fish I fished as I was departing for my internship.
What's funnier is that there were some malay fellows who appeared to be some kinda experts in fishing. They didn't get a single fish unfortunately. So, I'd conclude that fishing has a lot to do with luck. haha...Because they didn't expect to get a single fish, we didn't even prepare a plastic bag for it. So, the fishes we got were scattered on the floor. The so-called experts were eye-ing on our fishes, could felt some jealousy from their eye. haha...felt so good!
My first ever official fishing turned out to be phenomenal experience. I think that I am soon to get my own fishing rob. May go fishing again in coming CNY.
By the way, is it obligatory to learn fishing as that I am a island boy? haha..

It's real cool paper!
How cool was it?
There's a blackout during the examination. An experience that's first of its kind for me. The hall (MPH) plunged into darkness. The doors were being opened. The rain poured heavily. The thunder was roaring momentarily. However, the passing of time continued. Me, of course get going with my paper. The electricity resumed 15 min later, I suppose.
Announcement by the Invigilator Head: Due to the blackout, you're given an additional 15 min.
My thought:
"Whao ... fabulous! Hopefully there's blackout whenever I write papers lar. Can get top-up, why not!!" It can be a lil disrupting though.
p/s: Luckily, no one played firecracker!

Survivor
So, back to the title-->Survivor, yea the TV show hosted by Jeff, (Not me Okie). I am not trying to hype about it and by all means it need no me to P&P for it. It's among the TV shows that can actually catch my full concentration. Every single element appeals me well, ranging from the participants, the challenges, the exclusive rewards, the jungle survival skills, and more importantly the game plan which means the ways people kick ass as well as kiss ass.
Among all the seasons, the most exciting for me is Season 16-Fans versus Favorites. So much of tricks as well as twists. Basically there were freshies and people who ever participated and have had some experience. The latter group somehow had formulated a scheme how to go about playing the game and thus they had advantages over the freshies. In this particular season, the players were very competitive to each other, be he/she a social player/ physical player. Ones who have no physical can still outlast themselves in the game, because they were outwitted/outskilled the rest at influencing and persuading people. "PCS is important in this game!" Basically the women had formed an invincible alliance. They just freaking played blindsiding. The big men were being voted out one after another consecutively during the tribal councils. They are strong in challenges (games) but that didn't work for them at all.
There are some events which I like to highlight. Ozzy, one of my favorite players was the first victim being set after the merge despite having the immunity idol which he had found in the exile island. Presenting the immunity idol at the right timing is so crucial to avoid being voted out but the women just made him so comfortable to not use it. The same mistake recurred by several guys. Yet, the Ice-cream scooper gave up his individual immunity idol which can actually secure him a spot in top 4 and probably the title of "Survivor " and walk away with USD 1 million. The woman who received his "biggest gift" however turned on to him by voting him out. This certainly made new record in survivor series. The "women alliance" in the game was "fcuking" cut throat and they are "cooking". I cracked my head trying to figure out how they actually managed to blindside people again and again. Its like magic. In the end, the girl who flirts around won! I would say she deserves it though.
Season 16 is certainly not-to-be-missed.
Now, I am tagging with Season 17-Gabon. Can't wait for episode 8 to come out.

Pinky tag
Rule:
Person who get tagged is to list 7 weird things about him/herself. Also, he/she should at least tag 7 people by listing down their name and notify them by leaving comment.
How weird am I?
1. I don't like gaming (computer game). I don't play cs, dota, babo or whatsoever games besides euro 08 which I also barely play. I am about to uninstall it.
2. When I got lazy, I don't think and virtually have no efficiency. My paces slow down, I am prone making careless mistake. My writing just goes illegible. It always happens when I am writing papers and ended up countless "screwed-ups despite knowing how to do".
3. My composure (chillness) has huge standard deviation. I got so excited/nervous about stuffs until I got insomnia. However, sometimes I just chill and feel nothing for some big stuffs.
4. My laughter can be as worse as hysteria if I want to. It happens when I get very comfortable with the surrounding and people. Otherwise, I will just keep mouth shut and talk little. Cos I'm scared to be "empty vessel" but "makes more noise". It comes to me as big humiliation.
5. My conversation can vary from "heaven to hell". I talk courteously also foully, depending on with whom I am, where I am & what the occasions are. But yea, most of the time, I use proper language and I do always ask people to watch their language.
6. I always appear to be joking, but actually that's the way I got serious. Well, not dead serious but I am actually getting things done. People just can't understand me. What an orthodox, isn't it. Well, I am seizing such "bad habit" though.
7. I have never been in an "official" relationship.
Weird about this girl:
1. She recommended the USM-Cafe Western food. I did check it out, precisely the Arabic Chicken Rice. It tasted nothing special to me though. haha...
2. I somehow got to know she fancies Japanese much such as the manga, anime, may be some pop artists... Am wondering if she is good at speaking Japanese.
3. I am assuming that she is somehow a banana. She doesn't speak mandarin, (perhaps little) but she does speak Hokkien.
4. She blogs lots. She keeps complaining time is running out yet she is actively posting entries to feed her readers. haha...very committed blogger.
5. She can't swim, but she can float. Again, I am assuming.
6. She ar, sometimes very talkative but sometimes just keep quiet!
7. She ar, going to work for "Giant", I mean Exxon...Anything weird? (Paiseh, lack of idea)
Who I like to tag?
1. San Nien
2. Kha Loon
3. Wan Sin (tag back)
4. Tee Hooi
5. Melvin
6. Wong Ning
7. Kenny Sia (Ridiculous)
Hope you guys see it and be sporting!

I dun abondon "CHEMHOSTER"
Nothing happened? Of course not. Even the US general election has been disclosed. Osama, no I mean Obama will take over Bush soon.
Well, there is a sound reason behind it. As a matter of fact, this was the period over which i was being nervous, got stuck, helpless, emotionally disturbed about a matter --> my attachment.
Here the story goes. One of the "thousand" companies I had applied called me for a meeting/interview. Guess where was it? The Starbucks in Ipoh Parade. Well, it's Halliburton standard. Almost as selamba as slb. Anyway, as long as thing done, right? Actually, that day my interviewer, (to-be supervisor) just so happened to come by Ipoh and I was the one who suggested Starbucks. Lol ... I supposed there was no better place to meet in Ipoh. (should have get some idea from the Ipoh GPS--Ang Khian)-->She is the consultant for Ipoh Mapping, nice food, nice places she knows them all.
During the interview, I was made to understand they are offering placement in Landmark, one of the divisions in Halliburton which I had known least and expected least as well. (Bet you have no idea about it at all) I initially thought to do mud. No choice, gotta go with the flow. The interview was also selamba. I wasn't questioned much technically but some cocu and software stuffs which I learned and forgotten alr.
Soon later, which was within a weeks time (in week 12), my sv confirmed me . I gotta breath some air then. Good doesn't last long. Since then, I hadn't heard again from the HR nor my sv. It was touching week 14. I called back to my sv who was in Beijing that time asking how's thing going. Shit...credit gone fast ler! He said that he had submitted my name to HR and HR will process and soon issues me offer letter. Until now, I haven't received it. But yea, I just called the HR, she said she is processing it and can only get it done next week. Oh my Oh...pretty sluggish!
I think i need to rid it off. Otherwise, I will continue to be insomnia. I understand being worried can't help stuff, but I just can't help myself. Also, I heard of many cases of insomnia. haha...I am not abnormal either!
So, my offer letter shall arrive next week and marks the milestones in my university life. Gotta stay 8 months in KL, tentatively Wangsa Maju. Whenever I like, I can "bird view" the panorama of KL cos I'm working in KLCC.
How long I've been waiting stuff to be finalized, you roughly know lar. Fyi, I started applying since week 1 & I probably get final confirmation, (offer letter in exam week)...Ngah Di... The feeling so sucks!
Take a chance to wish everyone best of luck in finals.
Next post-->Pinky's tag.

Me in business!
Well, i suppose so. Lol...having packed schedule. Actually I am no different from her who hate to do this post. Okie lar sporting! Anyway, thanks girl!
Instruction: People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 10 weird things/habits/little known facts as well as state the rules clearly.
1. Some years ago, there's an adjective always associated with me -- "CUTE". I suppose it means "adorable". Luckily now no more.
2. I am impatient particularly when it comes to dealing with stuffs or people of no interest! I am freaking pissed if they are procrastinating, making things slow! Waste of my precious time. I could have been on sleep napping! Also, i can't stand with congestion and traffic jam.
3. I don't stand firm to the ground as in my ideas are evolving from time to time. Perhaps, I don't really understand myself. I can't tell what is my most favorites, what I want the most. Take it positively, I am being receptive.
4. I give all due respect to mutual relations especially friendship. If you don't give a damn, i am not gonna give a shit.
5. I am outgoing. I love activities, parties, traveling, outing and happening stuffs. Of course with the right companions. I get suffocated, migraine staying indoor for extended period of time (>48 hours). I am not Robinson Crusoe.
6. I fancy sport cars. Be it Fair lady, evo, Mazda, Audi, Mclaren slr, BMW...etc. I love speeding. I love very much watching Initial D. I always thought drifting! Some thought to get a bungalow one day, I dream for a cool car. Haven't decided which model yet.
7. Talking about loyalty, it's one of the values that I am holding tight to. It can be loyal to parents, beloved, friends...etc.
8. I have a good temper. After nagging around, my temper will go. Unless, something crosses the line that I can easily rids it of my mind. Rarely happens though.
9. I believe in Karma. So, as far as possible, I do good.
10. I ever tried to patch a relation. It didn't work though it had gone very close to success. Recovery period is over. Hopefully, she is done with me also. I've learned a lesson.

The resurrection of Dark Knights
However, it's what happens around my residential area in campus. Why is it so?
Here is how the thing goes. It had been several when the everywhere here plunge into darkness due to a short period of blackout. It's quite common here but no one can be sued for this as the university itself generates its own electricity. What is unusual, peculiar, and bizarre is that immediately when the light goes off, everyone freaking gets high. To be more precise, insanely high.
First, the place is freaking turned upside down! It becomes alive! People scream frantically at top of their voice. Just shout out loud! They are true rockers! It's even more powerful than the best cheer leaders anywhere around the world. I do contribute little! Lol! The atmosphere is even better than RUMS! Being around, the excitement is truly felt!
Secondly, people mock an Iran-Iraq war. Out of sudden, the ammunition explodes! My true legend neighbors freaking play firecrackers. Some fly up to the air, some drop to the ground from higher floor and "BOOM". The "Boom" just spreads on like wildfire. Looking out the window from my room, I seemingly heard someone talk to me, "sit back and enjoy". I would say it's even more wonderful than beholding a firework! I bet that the Altatunya C4 bomber get freaked out seeing this. I bet also some even purposely climb down from their beds to light the "bombs". That's how insanely mad are the people here!
The power resumes in 5 minutes. Peace prevails!
Well, honestly speaking, I love the show! I love the sounds! I pray for a blackout everyday! The life here must be a lot more fun.

Being the #31
Last week, my group did the prototype fabrication presentation to our supervisor. He is a truly gentleman. The reason for it is that he was very happy with our prototype and he said that we are definitely among the shortlisted participants for Engineering Design Exhibition (EDX22). No question that we got a "pretty" score for that.
After that we are sort of dismay when finding out our group was actually not in the participant's list. In fact, the feeling was contradicting. At the same time, I felt blessed as lots of troubles will thus be skipped. What are the things required to compete in EDX? Poster, design booth, presentation rehearsal, flow idea, pamphlets and most most troublesomely manning the booth 24/7 on the event day.
But this evening, my sv texted me informing that my group is officially entering EDX. It came to me such a big shock. Heck man, this is gonna be terrible LAST MINUTE. I was nervous about stuffs other than this. Cummulatively, I was dead tension for a moment but I've got over after a nap. Cekap.
So, I guess we are the #31 group as there should be only 30 groups. Or we are replacing some quitters! In contrary, we're the fighter!
Actually we're not that screwed up. My sv told me that previously it was due to some mis-communication. Alright, I am gonna nail EDX!

When it's hard to say no!
Until yesterday, never in my life that I'd attended a Hari Raya Open House. Upon invitation by my ETP mate, Intan from Falim (Ipoh), I gave out my very first Open House attendance! Perviously, my etp members took away my very first sahur at 5am. The reason that I lost my virginity twice is because of the Social Morality. While the other members had agreed to go for a meal together, it's hard for me being the leader to say "NO". In addition, I feel that I should get closer to them to smoothen the project. Well, you may say I abuse Social Morality. However, living in a multi racial society, this is how you should conduct yourselves.
Talking about the Open house, our arrival was greeted by the tuan rumah of course. There has already been around 10 utpians. Made a quick scanning, I was the only chinese. I felt awful and sort of freaked out! I thought that I was in a totally wrong place. Luckily the tuan rumah is a teacher who used to go to my school, SMK Pangkor being the state cocu center for attending khusus. So, I had a little conversation with him. I settled down on a table with 5 people. Luckily most of them I am familiar with. The awkwardness gradually faded. Soon after, I was chilled eating the food. Thought got satey but they didn't serve. Sigh...
As a whole, the dinner wasn't as bad as nightmare! Boleh Tahan lar...
I however still stick to the principle being immiscible with people who think narrowly!
Btw, this weekend leaves me with huge anxiety. Will unveil if things turn out right...I pray really hard for it!

Genting Highland
We paid RM38 for the outdoor theme park tickets. However, we just managed to play 2 games only, namely the swing and dragon coaster. OMG, say RM38/2, each game costs us RM 19. Hell-y expensive! Actually it was not because too many people that we had to queue for long but the extreme weather, precisely the mist! It was so freaking terrible that I couldn't see people 10m in front of me. Not at all! The weather is apparently disastrious, but I love it's icy cool and higly moist. It's so refreshing and I was like walking in the dreamland when surrounding was blur!!
They waited for almost an hour for the cyclone coaster (four person per coaster) just to be informed that the coaster had to be shut down as the weather was too bad. By the way, they were supposed to go next coaster. So, freaking Siu! While I was eating my wafer resting somewhere. I almost burst my stomach laughing at them. haha...
Here come the nice part. So, we had to stay in door. Some went back to Theme Park Hotel, while me, boon how and Chin went to the casino. By the way, I was 2 months underage! But so what hor, I managed to enter without having the securities to ask for my IC while the other two were asked. As that's the first time for 3 of us being in a casino, we just observed around. Didn't make any investment. We also went to the tutorial counter to ask how are the games played. A hokien spoken girl was explaining to us! haha...(What Ang Gong)...As it's overly smoky, we just stayed for an hour like that.
P/s: for those who used to tease me can't go in casino, paiseh to let you down babe!
At night, we had a very nice bowling session in First World Plaza. Lol, I used to be the king of superbowl, but that night I wasn't doing a good job. Just scored 90plus, while the rest exceeded 100 with Chin being #1 scoring 131. Excellent! Arh...fyi, I ever scored 163 (lansi)! After that, we went to the Monte Carlo, an investment center, precisely the Highland Casino lar. Again, I managed to enter! Yea, I looked like a man alr, not a boy anymore! There got smoking and non smoking area. I was kinda sleepy and not confident to put in my bet until the very last half an hour before we left. So, we played the big/small, odd/single, #1-6 thingy. When my money was on the table, I instantly woke up. Our bet was rather conservative, around RM5 to RM 10. At the end, we all managed to make little gain. "low risk, low gain". We hanged around for 3 hours plus and then went back sleep.
Next day, we camwhored around Genting and left. Half way going downhill we stopped by a Bak Ku Teh restaurant. I would have to say that's the nicest one I had ever tried! The taste was just gang gang. The pork lean, pig leg, usus babi, Foo Zou, You Zha Gui...etc, everything was nice! Topping up by the cool weather, it tasted even better as we didn't have to sweat whole wet.
That's all about Genting trip. I gotta acknowledge Ong for taking care my welfare in KL. He brought me around eating nice food. I like a very special porridege together with dim sun in Cheras and 13 sticks of Kajang Satey. I love the mutton satey so much.

"What is your biggest acheivement ?"
Collectively, yea I dear to say that I have had quite some accomplishments. In primary school, I used to be the athlete two years in a row but I lost in the district running events. I involved also in school handball and basketball team. Academically, okok only. Secondary school, nothing much other than scoring pretty fine in SPM, which bunches of people out there did it better. (Shit...screwed up Bahasa Cina, like what happened in my PMR). Again, I was part school basket and football team. Club thingy I didn't involve much. However, I was very active in 二十四节铃鼓, sort of a chinese drum club. We managed to win gold and silver in the state competition. I guess that's really big moment for us! Ironically, the junior team was the champion instead of us being the senior team. swt. In university, I participated some clubs, held some posts and organised some events. Thus far, the biggest moment was NACES 2008 in UPM being the first runner up for technical paper presentation.
P/s: May left out some.
Talking about the biggest one, I doubt to tell which one of them. This is because different people different horizons, expectations, boundaries and levels. Well, to me all these change over time. Meeting new people get new inspirations or even influences, they all will change accordingly!
Long ago, I didn't think I would enter an university, here am I now. Long ago, I didn't think that I could have a boundless networking, but now I do. Long ago, I didn't think that I could write in English, here I do also. Long ago I never thought I would be an engineer, but now I am walking the path. Most unexpectedly, it's oil and gas industry which I scarcely exposed to in those days.
So, to answer "What is your biggest achievement", I would say it is the changes I have experienced thus far. Precisely, the mental and intelligence growth. From a plain sheet of paper, I am totally "tainted". I am not who is used to be! That's it lar...

A last minute problem
This evening, we carried out detailed testing to check again the flow rate and if the unit is working properly with all the piping fixed.
P/s: the water quality is empirically proven to be safe for drinking.
Earlier on we had preliminary testing on the flow rate. The flow rate was slightly fine with voltage set to be 12v. However, something went wrong this evening. The water didn't come out at all despite that the pump kept pushing in the water through the filter. Thus, it's sort of project fails. Everyone started to appear anxious and become very helpless considering very little time left and worst of all was having no idea of which part caused the problem. We revisited the problem. A simple theory is applied --> [accumulation = volume in - volume out]. Two solutions we managed to think of. My Robocon member suggested replacing with an AC pump with bigger capacity which we have not procured yet. I came out with an idea to raise the operating voltage to 18v. The pump is prescribed to be operated at 6v. We however had tried out 12v, so why not 18v! The rest were kind of skeptic and pessimistic about my idea. They were afraid that the pump could be spoil. But I managed to make them to go back to lab for retesting.
So, we got the lab again and tried it by raising the voltage 3 times as much as the prescribed voltage. Firstly, the pump can actually sustain 18v. Perhaps can raise it to 24v which for sure will yield better flow rate. haha...I would say that it is very rugged and all rounded! Luckily. Secondly the flow rate was improved significantly. Filling 1.5 liter mineral bottle took 2.20 minute. What do you think? It's essentially to cater for campers and hikers. They do not rush time!
So, problem is virtually resolved and hopefully there is no more problem pops out. When there is problem, everyone like turned it to me being the leader! What pissed me more is that they said that we should not have chosen this project. There's a saying in Cantonese: "There will be no beggar if one knows early that he or she can possibly in future." Screw them!...

Ban on Chinese dairy products
The Chinese dairy product is found to contain traces of melamine, an industrial chemical. Melamine can cause kidney stones and lead to kidney failure. It is thought to account for four infant deaths in China. In addition that that, nearly 53,000 children in China have fallen sick after drinking melamine-tainted baby formula.
Report revealed that melamine, used to make plastics and fertilizer, has been found in infant formula and other milk products from 22 of China's dairy companies. Suppliers trying to cut costs are believed to have added it to watered-down milk because its high nitrogen content masks the resulting protein deficiency.
Singapore has already imposed ban on Chinese dairy products. Among those on the list include:
1. Chinese milk candy
2. Yili-brand yogurt bar
3. Dutch Lady-brand strawberry milk made in China
more suspected items.
(20 Sept) The Health Ministry is now also blocking the import of White Rabbit-brand candy and other Chinese products containing milk ingredients and will seize these items from store shelves, said Noraini Mohamad Othman, director of the ministry's food safety and quality division.

Instead of HOUSE MAID, HOUSE MANAGER!
Upon completing the program, she may get paid for RM 700 to RM 1,200 monthly according to Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen. In addition, Dr Ng said the training center offered an alternative income to an estimated three million "unemployed" housewives.
Common figures for employing a live-in domestic help:
An Indonesian is paid RM500 a month, while a Filipina charges not less than US$400 (RM1,200), while a local is paid about RM1,000.
more on the star , nst.
So, basically with first investment of RM 10 million to resolve huge unemployment, what do you think? The government finally does something which I feel quite reasonable! This is because the imported maids have been causing quite some issues not only to the society but themselves also face problems due to unfair treatment. Cases like domestic abuse, conflicts and even adulteries are often heard in regard to house maid. Some of them are deprived of their human right, being asked to work 24/7 and not provided with adequate basic necessities. Some maids even took revenge on the employers' children and eventually led to domestic tragedies. All these ain't fresh to us.
Instead of "house maid", house manager which sounds rather professional and high class I would say, they should perform a better tasks and they should also be better informed about the work ethics and their rights. Thus, the associated problems can be solved provided the program is a success.
p/s: wonder they accept guy ar. I haven't got my internship offer ler. Lol...

Post 916
BN is being driven to act on desperation. Among the paradigms:
1. Imposed ban on Malaysia Today by all internet service providers (ISPs) as being ordered by Malaysia Communications and Multimedia Commission(MCMC). It has been resumed though. more
2. 49 BN Legislators were sent for agricultural trip in Taiwan which was deemed as a measure to avert the party cross-over.
3. Detention of Raja Petra Kamaruddin (Malaysia Today Editor) and Tan Hoon Cheng (Sin Chiew Daiy News reporter) under Internal Security Act. more
p/s: Damage has been made. You further lost people trust! If you're very much into governing this country, prove it. Make no mistake! People don't need your joke to make their days. If this is the mentality within you, I afraid people will have to say "NO". Show some sincerity!
It's few days post long awaited 916. Anwar who has pledged to take over the government on this particular date, however seems not to make any progress yet. Despite the claim about more than 30 BN Member of Parliment (MPs) have confirmed to join his Pakatan Rakyat, solid move has yet come to surface. Consequently, there has been lots rumors that Anway is merely bullshit-ing.
Could 916 be just the prelude? Will the sweet promises be realized soon? Or all that came out from his mouth is just rhetoric?
He is really playing for stake now. If he succeed, he will be prime minister, otherwise it's a shame for him to stay in Malaysia.
However, what worst is that the country is receiving disastrous threats by virtue of this pending state. The country has been pretty much plunging into turmoil, particularly the economic. The external investors have lost their confidence towards the local government and pulled themselves out of the country. The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) even dropped below 1000 yesterday. At the same time, the international economic crisis hits whereby the Lehman Brothers declared bankruptcy. Malaysia will automatically get the impact.
If the situation persists, we are going nowhere. In fact, we are doomed!
Wish that Anwar is the kinda man who values his words and stresses integrity. Make those who are skeptic about him drop their glasses. The nation can't afford to wait longer. Move fast and settle things down!
People are waiting good news from you. Don't be a cock talker as what some people call you now!

Kiss mark
Sarcastically enough, I woke up this morning to find out there were 2 love bites on my right arm. My skin isn't allergic to the blood sucker! So, rarely do I get a long lasting kiss mark. These 2, however can substantially last for over 24 hours. Bet that the mosquitoe(s) must have a bloated belly sucking my blood.
Wonder that FOGGING is to WIPE OUT the MOSQUITOES @ to actually THRIVE them. On top of that, I can see some mosquitoes flying around in the room now. Are they gonna kiss me tonight? Pls, I'm not that hot...

Six brains computer chip by Intel
I am certainly not satisfied by that. So, I've found something to counter back. This surely is cutting edge enough to blow his mind.
The six-core chip delivers 50 percent more performance than its quad-core predecessor while using 10 percent less electric power, according to Intel enterprise group vice president Tom Kilroy.
Electricity and cooling expenses can account for nearly half the cost of running company computer servers.
"It isn't just performance and energy efficiency but the use models," Kilroy said of the boon promised by increasingly powerful chips. "One of the major ones is virtualization."
Multi-core chips are boons to computing trends including high-definition video viewing online; businesses offering services applications on the Internet; and single servers running many "virtual" machines.
"There is a realization that we will be able to bring things to market that weren't feasible four years ago," MySpace vice president of technical operations Richard Buckingham said while discussing the new chip's potential.

Heroes Season 3
What if there's a minority of human being who have superpower?
Interesting the world gonna become right?
Issac Mendez possesses precognitive visions.
This is his painting of Manhattan being decimated in nuclear blast.
"Save the cheer leader, save the world"
Hero season 3 is set to air at the end of September.
Get yourselves tagged!
It's thus far the best US series I've ever watched.
Wondering where to get the source though.
Hopefully Dc++ is up-to date.
My favorite role is non other than Peter Petreli
who has the ability to absorb any power when come into contact with him.
He is also the key to save the world.
Anyone like Hiro Nakamura? hehe...

My ETP sucks, Really?
LifeStraw (known as sucker as well). It is simple but it works.
Picture taken from its official website.
Initially I thought we won't be able to get them, but we got them for free!
Bangga-nye.
I was testing the sucker! I sucked pretty hard, didn't I?
Btw, the water I sucked is just drinkable!
Yesterday afternoon, we were consulting a professor from civil department, Prof. Dr Malay Chaudhuri about our results on water testing. Four tests were done: turbidity, pH, ecoli and bod. In fact, our results are OK (safe for drinking). BUT, he commented us that our project is NOT engineering relevance. Even some non-engineering people can do it. Despite my justification, he said that we should at least make something new. He suggested to us to make another lifeStraw using char coal or granular activated carbon. I was freaking shaken in the first place. It's end of week 8, a very critical period. I was freaking tension. My mind was haunted the whole afternoon. Worst of all, I had to write a paper at night later. I couldn't actually focus on my revision. At 5pm, we had a meeting with our sv. Well, actually he gave us the ideal of lifestraw. He asked us to proceed. Then only I relieved.
Yea, I do admit that our ETP is more like assembling the existing produts. But then think of it this way. Say we were to use Reverse Osmosis, which I think there are quite some groups doing it, the membrane is an commercial product also. The lifestraw is nothing but a device for water treatment in our system. In fact, it's way cheaper than membrane but compatibly effective. So, it very much makes sense in the perspective of engineering economic. In addition, we need to fix a compatible pump with suitable suction power. If you have no technical knowledge, how the HELL you're supposed to choose a right one! And FYI, our pump is a Taiwanese pump. We just got it this week. The procurement of materials really took us lots of time. So, our prototype fabrication will only start next week. Don't ever come to me again saying my project is out of ETP. Drill you lar! haha...
I spared my revision time to check our project and drilled the test a bit already.
Anyhow, I should be thankful to the Prof Malay for questioning our project. We will be more prepared for the presentation later.

Anwar can make a change but he is not all that matter!
Recent breaking news in regard to issue on "chinese squatter" by Bukit Bendera Umno division chief Ahmad Ismail has exacerbated the tension. Chinese squatter
Chronology of BN becomes SCREWED UP. Click here
Undoubtedly, Anwar is the most potential leader in making this revolutionary change. However, one thing we should always bear in mind.
Anwar is not all that matter. What crucial more for citizens is a government who is anti-corruption, upholds national constitution, treats everyone equally regardless of races and religions, enhances the national economic and emphasizes on human right, such as speak freely. .
An article from which I would like to extract some points to share:
"人民要求一個清廉,捍衛司法公正、改善經濟、各族平等、民主與人權以及言論自由的政府,掌權者忠於選民委托,履行職責與義務,至於誰當政府已是其次。
國家主權是屬於人民的,政府機關只是屬於人民所委托的部份範圍。如果國陣依然故我和原地踏步,即使916變天計劃仍留在夢想階段,但民心思變的力量不是任何政治語言所能改變的。" Read more

Proton is NOT going to make a Loss
Frankly speaking, among all the automotive makers, my preference is Japanese Honda. To be exact, I crave for Honda Civic and Honda Accord, regardless of year of production. Nonetheless, Honda series has made a huge progress year after year, not only the exterior design, but also the its performance. Apparently, Honda is very a promising one!
In recent years, the concerns for climate change and more efficient fuel economy surges everywhere around the world. The challenges that the automotive makers face are even much greater than ever! Transportation sector has been identified as the major root causing global warming. Thus, green technologies like bio fuel, fuel cell, electric car, solar car ...etc in vehicles become very vital for carbon footprint reduction.
In order to secure a competition in automotive market, the automotive manufacturers will have no choice but to opt for economical and green car. However, they are in dilemma. This is because they have to adopt highly sophisticated green technologies, which of course at the expense of extremely high cost, whilst they need to make something affordable so that they can get a bulk business. A trade off between these two must be reached.
Looking back in Malaysia, the dominant automotive maker, Proton which used to suffer losses in business has taken its initiative to move towards the international automotive arena. Proton is manufacturing electric cars in collaboration with Detriot Electric. If it turns out a success, PETRONAS's wealth will be shared by PROTON one day!

Custom Top Gear
Top Gear is an automotive review program.
As the title suggests, I actually would like to say about 2 cars which I spotted in Kampar. They appealed me lots. They are the newest Honda Accord and the newest Hyundai Sonata. Both of them were released early of 2008, but that's my first time seeing them with naked eye.
2008 Honda Accord has been ranked #1 among the Affordable Mid-size Cars.
See what the experts say (specs and pricing):
